Wing Commander Mr. Main Uddin Ahmad, psc (retd) has commissioned in Bangladesh Air Force in 1976 as a General Duties (Pilot) Branch. During his service he had held various Staff and command appointments both at home and abroad. Besides commanding various BAF operation wings, he was a basic flying instructor, qualified flying instructor, qualified weapon instructor, technical leader, an accomplished Fighter Pilot and an active flyer. He flew various types of aircrafts, which include PT-6, Fouga, F-6, F-7, F-7 BG, F-7MB & A-5. Also, he went on deputation to Iraq and trained Iraqi pilots. Mr. Ahmad was commanded Fighter Squadron and served as Directing Staff at Mirpur Commandant Staff College. During his service he attended various international seminars, conferences and also undergone flight safety management courses.
Mr. Ahmad took voluntary retirement from Bangladesh Air Force in 1996 and started his own business and become a successful entrepreneur. He is the founder director of SIS Logistical System Limited and leading the organization as Chairman, which is the high-profile optical fiber cable (OFC) laying (HDD) and communications networking company of the country. Also, he is the founder director and owner of Grace Tone Limited, MKA Hatchery and Zamimen International, which are the pioneer in aquaculture, shrimp feed and hatchery feed, SPF brood stock hatchery and aviation industry respectively.
Mr. Ahmad widely traveled many countries including Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, DR Congo, Georgia, India, KSA, Liberia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mali, Pakistan, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, UK, Ukraine and USA to attend commercial and business seminar, conference and acquired vast knowledge in the field of commerce and business.
Mr. Ahmad Completed Staff College in Bangladesh with DS Grading, completed Advanced Staff College from UK with Distinction, graduated from University of Dhaka and took participate wide number of training programs at home and abroad. Mr. Ahmad is a prominent entrepreneur in Bangladesh now.
