Mr. Farid Ahmed was born in a business family of Bagerhat District. He started his business career soon after graduation from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, together with his humble partner Mr. Wing Commander Main Uddin Ahmad initially with defense supply under ministry of defense. Within a short period of time, he spread wings to many other sectors. Today many numbers of businesses established under his dynamic leadership and HDD business in a one of them.
Mr. Farid Ahmed is a widely traveled person. He has strong business contacts all over the world and he specializes in sourcing of defense supplies, machineries, aircrafts, helicopters, radars and others around the world. He is a member of various social organizations and leading charity activities as an active part of his buoyant responsibilities to the society. He is also closely associated with recreation and cultural activities. He runs a charity and many educational and other welfare institutions absolutely with his own funds.
